Children's Church on Sunday mornings

We meet in Church at the beginning of the service and are invited to the front for a blessing and then we move to the Church Centre. We meet every Sunday during term time except for the first Sunday in the month which is a family service.

We have two groups, Sunbeams (3-5 years) and Shooting Stars (6-10 years). If we do not have sufficient numbers to run them as separate groups we combine them on the day.

We talk about the stories from the Bible and combine this with fun activities to help the children learn about who Jesus was. We aim to make the sessions enjoyable and varied involving games and crafts.

At the end of the session we return to Church where the younger children receive a blessing and the older children receive a blessing or receive Communion.

Creche: We don't run a formal creche during Sunday morning services but there are toys available for very small children (up to 3 yrs) in the base of the Tower and you are welcome to let your child play with these. There is a speaker in the Tower so that you can continue to hear the service.
