Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings. However, in order to vote and/or serve as a churchwarden or member of the PCC, you must be on the electoral roll of the parish.
Electoral roll
If you wish to be able to vote at our annual meeting or stand in any of the elections, please complete the form and return it to the Church Office no later than 9 May 2025.
Please note: the electoral roll is completely revised every six years. This is happening in 2025. Even if you have been on the electoral roll before, you must complete a new form this year. No names are carried forward from previous rolls.
Elections
This year, nominations are sought for churchwardens and members of the Parochial Church Council.
Nomination forms are below.
Please be aware that anyone putting themselves forward as a PCC member, Church Warden or for a Deanery or Diocesan Synod position must, if elected, be willing to undertake safer recruitment processes including the completion of a Confidential Declaration form and an enhanced DBS check.
They will also need to undertake the relevant safeguarding training. This means completing two safeguarding training modules as a minimum:
- Basic Awareness
- Foundations – renewal every three years
Appropriate checks will be carried out after the elections and confirmation of the appointment will only take place after the DBS check has been completed and is satisfactory and after all the required safeguarding training is completed.
