The Church Centre is attached to St Mary’s Church. It was built as a joint project with the Methodist Church with whom we shared our activities for many years.
The Centre was opened on Sunday 30 May 1982 by the Bishop of St Albans and the Chairman of the London NW Methodist District.
The main hall of the Church Centre and Room 1 upstairs are available for hire.
The Church Centre is available for hire. If you would like to book the church centre for regular gatherings or for one-off events such as a party, please get in touch.
As a guideline, the hall is available most Saturdays (day and evening), Sundays (after 1.00pm) and some weekdays (day time and evening). [Check availability]
There is a room (known as Room 1) upstairs within the Church Centre which can also be booked. The room can hold approximately 20 people for informal meetings. It is carpeted so may also be suitable for small keep fit groups etc. In general, if you hire Room 1, you will also be able to have access to the kitchen.
If you would like to see the Hall or Room 1 please call us and we will be happy to show you round.
